M State handed NDSCS a 10-6 defeat in college baseball action on Tuesday afternoon in Fergus Falls.
“I thought we played really well knocking out 10 hits,” stated Head Coach Grant Harding of the Spartans. “Justin Dykhoff really put a game together going 3 for 4 (3B, RBI, R) and got the win on the hill.”
Dykhoff struck out four and walked two, while allowing nine hits. Offensive leaders for M State were Kyle Doup (2-5, 2B, SB, R, 2 RBI), Dane Schwirtz (1-4, 2B, BB, 3R), Christian Norby (2-4, 2B, 3 RBI) and Teigen Moritz (1-2, 2B, 2BB, 2R).
The Spartans (3-12) travel to International Falls for a double header against Rainy River on Wednesday and will host two games with Itasca on Thursday in Fergus Falls.
