Leading scorers for the Cowboys were Jonah Christensen with 21, Cooper Yaggie with 18, and Anthony Conzemius with 14. Leading rebounders were Conzemius with 8, Sebastian Anderson with 6, and Christensen with 5. Jr Perez added 4 assists and Yaggie and Christensen each added 3.

"We were able to bounce back after a tough overtime loss to Frazee last week. The guys really responded well in practice this week and the extra time in the gym and watching film paid off,” said Breckenridge Assistant Coach Derek Grahn. “Our senior group got us off to a great start and sophomores Landon Blaufuss and Alex Ohm gave us some big sparks off the bench. Frazee has as talented of an offense as we've played all season and our guys showed a lot of toughness in the way that they played defense tonight. We will be traveling to Warroad on Saturday to take on our 2nd round opponent with a tipoff time scheduled for 1 PM."
