The Fergus Falls boys’ and girls’ hockey teams will host first round playoff games this week. The Otter boys’ received the number two seed in Section 6A and will host Breckenridge/Wahpeton on Friday night at 7:00pm at the Community Arena.
The Otter girls’ are seeded number three and will have a home game against Morris-Benson at 7:00pm Tuesday.
The winner of that game will play on the road Thursday against #2 River Lakes. #4 Northern Lakes will entertain #5 Prairie Center on Tuesday with the winner advancing to the semifinals on Thursday against top-seeded Willmar.
In boys’ action on Tuesday #8 Wadena-Deer Creek will host #9 Prairie Center with the winner going to top-seeded Little Falls on Friday for a quarterfinal matchup. Number 10 seed Breckenridge-Wahpeton wins by forfeit over River Lakes and will play at Fergus Falls on Friday. #3 Alexandria will host #6 Morris-Benson; and #4 Sartell is home to #5 St. Cloud Cathedral.
