Wadena-Deer Creek hit nine 3-pointers on Saturday afternoon as they recorded a 58-48 girls’ basketball victory over Walker on Saturday afternoon.  The Wolverines led 28-22 at the half.

“Hard fought game in Walker today,” observed WDC Head Coach Jordan Cresap. “Montana Carsten and Addyson Gravelle hit some big time shots down the stretch. Balanced scoring and second half composure were the keys to the win. Fun to end the regular season on a win over a very solid and well coached Walker team.”

Carsten made 5 3’s and finished with 15 points, while Gravelle buried three 3’s and had 9 points on the day.  Lauryn Gravelle added 14 points for the Wolverines.

Wadena-Deer Creek finishes the regular season with an 8-10 record, having won four of their last six games.
