Parkers Prairie had a slim 18-16 halftime lead against Brandon-Evansville on Friday night, but the Panthers put 29 points on the board in the second half while holding the B-E girls to just 19.  With the 47-35 victory Parkers Prairie secures a share of the Little Eight Conference title.

“It was a pretty physical, competitive Little 8 Conference battle tonight,” said Brandon-Evansville Head Coach Zach Traphagen. “Parkers went on about an 8 or 9 point run a little over halfway through the 2nd half and that was the difference in the game as points came at a premium. I am proud of how our girls competed against a really quality team. Congratulations to Parkers Prairie and Underwood on again splitting the Little 8 Conference Championship. We get a short night's rest and are back in action again tomorrow afternoon for our season finale in Rothsay.”

Bailey Schaefer (12 points, 4 assists, 6 rebounds) and Mikenna Pattrin (11 points, 6 rebounds) led the Chargers.  Kaytlyn Pattrin had a team high 8 rebounds.  Kylee Dingwall added 6 points and 3 assists.

Parkers Prairie finishes the regular season with a record of 14-3 and a Little Eight Conference mark of 11-1.

Brandon-Evansville (8-9) heads into Rothsay with a 6-5 conference record.
