The Alexandria girls’ hockey team put 43 shots on goal Monday night in their 3-0 win over Bemidji.  The Cardinals held the Lumberjacks to just ten total shots on the night.

Anna Doherty got the scoring started at 6:05 of the opening period, assisted by Peyton Boesl.  A Marki Oberg goal at 14:09 gave the cardinals a 2-0 lead and was assisted by Riley Nyberg and MaKenna Aure.

Doherty’s second tally of the night came at 8:27 of the third period and Boesl again assisted on the goal.

Jordan O’Kane stopped all ten shots she faced as the Cardinals improved their season record to 10-4-1 with their seventh straight victory.  They will play at Brainerd/Little Falls on Thursday night and at Willmar on Saturday to close out their regular season schedule.
