The Pelican Rapids girls’ basketball team recorded their ninth straight win on Monday, defeating Barnesville by the score of 48-38. The Vikings improved their overall record to 15-1 and will try to finish an unbeaten Heart O’ Lakes Conference season on Friday at Breckenridge.
Greta Tollefson scored 23 points, pulled down 8 rebounds and came up with 2 steals to lead the Vikings. Anna Stephenson had 9 points and 11 rebounds and Morgan Korf added 7 points. Chloe Paulson and Ellie Welch had 4 assists each and Paulson had a team high 3 steals.
Barnesville (9-5) will play at East Grand Forks on Thursday and will host Frazee on Friday.
