“DGF was able to stretch out a double digit lead late in the first half and we weren't able to recover from that,” stated Pelican Rapids Head Coach John Gullingsrud. “The closest we got was eight in the second half as we struggled to get any consistent stops on defense all night.”

Owen Leach scored 16 to lead the Rebels.  He was joined in double digits by Logan Bitker and Colby Schreiber with 12 points apiece.

Jayden Rutherford led the Vikings with a game high 18 points and McHale Korf added 11.

DGF (8-5) will host Breckenridge on Monday in another HOL battle.

Pelican Rapids (7-7) travels to East Grand Forks to face a non-conference opponent on Monday.
