Behind Jaden Norby's near triple double the Ashby Arrows Boys Basketball Team defeated the Upsala Cardinals 76-48 on Friday night.  Ashby led 32-24 at halftime.  Jaden scored 25 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, and dished out 8 assists.

Torin Olson and Jacob Cook also reached double figures with 14 and 11 points, respectively.  Derrek Bartz knocked down three 3's for a total of nine points.  Ashton Ecker added 7.  Bobby Anderson and Hunter Norby each scored 4.  Miles Hoff completed the scoring with 2 points.

Upsala's junior point guard Levi Lampert led the Cardinals with a 21 point effort including 4 three point baskets.  The Upsala team had two starters who couldn't play because of injury.

“Besides Jaden's terrific all around play tonight, the story of the game was the contribution off the bench by Carson Spangler, Bobby Anderson, and Derrek Bartz,” said Ashby Head Coach John Holsten. “They made plays that increased the Arrows lead in the first half.”

Next up for the 15-0 Arrows is a Little Eight Conference battle with the visiting Brandon-Evansville Chargers Monday night.
