“The girls played a really nice game tonight and got ahead early against Rothsay,” noted Head Coach David Marso of the Battlers.  “We came out fast in the second half and quickly extended the lead to 20 midway through the period.”

Grace VanErp led all scorers with 27 points.  Ady Tysdal and Morgan Malone joined her in double digit scoring with 11 and 10 points, respectively. 

The Tigers were paced by Savanah Sullivan who scored 14 points.

Battle Lake (6-9) will host Verndale on Saturday afternoon.

Rothsay (1-13) is home against Bertha-Hewitt on Friday night.
