With Adam Tonsfeldt sidelined with an ankle injury the Barnesville boys’ basketball team won for the fifth time in their last six games as they handed East Grand Forks a 56-52 loss on Saturday afternoon in Barnesville.

Kaden Zenzen registered a double-double with 21 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Trojans.  Jack Nielsen was also in double digits with 19.  Nielsen added 6 rebounds.

“Good win by our team,” said Assistant Coach Tracy Hinsz.  “We played very hard and aggressive and had a number of guys step up without our top player on the floor.”

Barnesville (7-4) will host DGF in a Heart O’ Lakes Conference contest on Monday night and will have back-to-back home games against Moorhead and Breckenridge on Thursday and Friday.
