The WCA Knights posted a 75-32 win over the Underwood Rockets on Tuesday night in Underwood.  The Knights hit 30-61 shots for 49% and made five 3's.  They hit 10-16 free throws and won the rebounding battle 37-25.  They also forced 25 Rocket turnovers.  The Rockets shot 9-30 for 30% and made 7-15 threes and 7-11 free throws.

Knight Coach Kraig Hunter said, "We held Underwood two only two 2-point field goals but they shot the three really well. They have a young team that has a bright future.  Our offensive rebounding and forcing turnovers created a lot of extra possessions for us giving us many more shot attempts than the Rockets.  We had 15 players all contribute to the win again tonight."

Grant Beuckens had 14 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals; Brady Reeve 13 points and 6 rebounds; Xander Bontjes had 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals; Jacob Strunk had 9 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists; Ryder Staples 9 points, 5 rebounds, 4 steals, and 2 assists; Tate Christenson had 6 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 steals; Cam Anderson had 6 points, 3 rebounds, 4 steals, and 2 assists; Cole Anderson had 4 points, and 3 rebounds; and Peyton Hanson rounded out the scoring with 2 points.

Also contributing for the Knights were Nasir Dotts with 1 assist, 1 steal, and a charge taken; Roman Mihailovschi 1 rebounds, Damon Sanstead 1 assist, Isaac Kreft 1 rebound and 1 blocked shot, Tyler Biss 1 rebound.

"We played really well for most of the first half, but when they upped the pressure, we couldn't make the adjustments to keep the game close," said Underwood Head Coach Evan Meece.  "Their length and stingy defense was too much to handle.  In the second half, we just couldn't get anything going on the offensive side."

Scoring for Underwood came from Krosby Aasness with 12, Gavin Pausch 9, Evan Lundgren 4, Jayden Harig 3, Joey Kupfer 2, and Hudson Risbrudt 2.
