Fergus Falls hosted Willmar on Thursday night in their next to last home dual of the season at the Kennedy Secondary School pool. The Cardinals came out on top, 115-58, however Head Coach Randy Hansen said, “This was the best we have swam as a team all year. With only one home meet left after tonight, it was great to have such a complete team meet. Both our Medley and 200 free relay swam their best time of the year. Sean Edman continues to fine tune his races. Winning both the 200 and 100 free with best times of the year is awesome heading into the last part of the season. Micah Zosel had a great night with PRs in the breast and 200 IM as well as a great split in his 200 free relay. Ryan Aanerud had a close race in the 100 Back and just pulled out the win. Lots of our younger guys had big time drops as well. Kudos to Jacob Kettner (500 free) and William Ness-Ludwig (200 IM). Both swam really tough events for the first time tonight and did great!”
Last home meet of the year for the Otters is next Tuesday vs. Detroit Lakes.
