St. Cloud Apollo improved their season record to 5-6 and ran their winning streak to three games with a 54-50 victory in Fergus Falls on Tuesday night, avenging an earlier loss to the Otters in St. Cloud.  The Otters were once again without Chance Fazio, who is nursing an ankle injury, and Luke Newman.

Fergus Falls jumped out a leads of 7-0 and 9-2 before the Eagles went on a 9 point run to take an 11-9 lead.  The lead changed hands seven times in the first half as Apollo gained a 24-20 halftime advantage.  The Otters fell behind 30-22, however, they went on a 13-4 run to regain the lead at 35-34.  Apollo took the lead back on a 3-pointer by Quamar Gresham and held it the rest of the way.
Gresham hit four 3’s in the game and scored 15 of his game high 24 points in the second half.  Thomas Diew joined him in double digits with 13 points.

Dominic Aguilar had three 3’s and 23 points to lead the Otters.  Kaden Conklin contributed a dozen and Abel Aho scored 9 points.

Fergus Falls (6-4) will host Willmar in a Central Lakes Conference game on Friday night.
