Career win number 600 for Parkers Prairie girls’ basketball coach John Noga came on Thursday night at the expense of the Brandon-Evansville Chargers.  The Panthers led 29-22 at the half and outscored the Chargers 34-14 over the final 18 minutes to post a 63-36 victory.

“First of all, I want to congratulate Coach Noga on his 600th career victory,” said Brandon-Evansville Head Coach Zach Traphagen. “It takes a special coach to be able to achieve that milestone. Tonight was the tale of two halves. First half we were very competitive, and the second half we weren’t. Parker’s really shot the ball well in the second half, and we couldn’t get into any rhythm offensively. We had some good looks, but again struggled to finish our shots.”

Bailey Schaefer led B-E with 12 points and 5 rebounds.  Kiley Lund added 7 points, 2 assists and 3 rebounds, and Mikenna Pattrin had 8 points, 3 assists and 3 steals.  Kaytlyn Pattrin finished with 4 rebounds, 4 steals and 2 points.  The Chargers made just 28% (14-50) of their shots.

No Parkers Prairie stats were reported.

The Panthers (7-1) will play a road game against West Central Area in Barrett on Tuesday night.

Brandon-Evansville (4-4) is at Wheaton on Tuesday.
