Perham Puts Together Two Solid Halves to Beat Vikings

Perham put together two solid halves of basketball in Pelican Rapids on Friday night as they took a 33-21 halftime lead and went on to post a 70-43 victory over the Vikings.  The Yellowjackets hit 59% (30-51) of their field goal attempts in the game.

Finn Diggins scored a game high 27 points, pulled down 9 rebounds, dished out 4 assists and collected 2 steals to lead Perham.  Micah Thompson made 9-of-11 shots on the way to a 19 point night, while adding 5 rebounds and 3 assists.  Soren Anderson chipped in with7 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists.

Pelican Rapids made only 36% (15-42) of their field goal attempts.  Logan Fahje had a team high 11 points and he was joined in double figures by Tanner Tollerud and Jayden Rutherford with 10 points apiece.

Perham (5-2) will host DGF on Thursday night.

Pelican Rapids (3-3) will host Crookston on Monday.
