“Tonight we played excellent all around defense for 36 minutes,” commented Head coach Zachary Traphagen of B-E. “Ashby has some talented shooters on their team and we knew that we had to make things extremely difficult for them to get good looks at the basket. Although only 5 kids scored for us tonight, I thought the girls did a great job of running the offense from about the midway point of the first half to the end of the game. We have to continue to keep working to improve on both ends of the floor, but I was really pleased with our energy and effort tonight.”
Maddie Otto had a team high 5 rebounds, while dishing out 3 assists and coming up with 3 steals. Schaefer had 5 steals and 4 assists.
