The Perham boys’ basketball team got back on the winning track Thursday night with a 68-56 Heart O’ Lakes Conference road victory over the Hornets in Frazee. The Yellowjackets connected on 45.6% (26-57) of their field goal attempts on the night and pulled down 40 rebounds, 11 on the offensive end.
Finn Diggins poured in a game high 26 points, while added 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 seals. Soren Anderson scored 18 points and had 6 rebounds, and Elijah Morris finished with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Gabe Thompson led the team with 5 assists and contributed 6 boards.
Jack Courneya led the Hornets with 21 points.
Perham (4-1) plays a Saturday afternoon game in Breckenridge against the unbeaten Cowboys (3-0).
Frazee (1-4) will host Hawley on Tuesday night.
