“This was a solid win on the road for our guys,” commented Pelican Rapids Head Coach John Gullingsrud. “We came out with good energy on the defensive end and had a balanced night offensively which was nice to see. We had good contributions from everyone that stepped on the floor tonight and we will definitely need that moving forward.”
Logan Fahje and Jayden Rutherford led the Vikings with 14 and 12 points, respectively. Liam Sytsma and McHale Korf scored 9 points apiece and Brayden Ecker and Tanner Tollerud each 8 8 points.
The Vikings (2-1) will play at Barnesville Saturday at 2:30pm in a Heart O’ Lakes Conference contest.
