Aguilar Scores 30 to Lead Otters to Win at Tech

Dominic Aguilar hit five of his six 3's in the first half, scoring 19 of his game high 30 points before halftime on Tuesday afternoon to lead the Fergus Falls boys' basketball team to an 82-58 victory at St. Cloud Tech.

With the game tied at 6-6, Tech went on a seven point run to take a 13-6 lead.  The Otters took their first lead at 21-20 and increased that lead to thirteen on the way to a 39-29 halftime lead.  Once they got the lead they never relinquished it, building it to 28 points at one time in the second half.

Chance Fazio scored 18 points and registered a double-double for the Otters.  Kaden Conklin connected on three second half 3's and finished with 11 points.  The Otter hit 11 3's in all.  Elliot Pribbenow and Luke Newman finished with 8 and 7 points, respectively.

St. Cloud Tech also buried 11 3's in the contest with Kaiden Moua nailing five of them on the way to a team high 17 points.  KT Norwood added 12 points and two players, Garrison Murray and Devin Yeager contributed 11 points each.

Fergus Falls (2-2) will travel to Moorhead to face the Spuds on Thursday night.
