“We have good strength and leadership in our returning players,” said Coach Grove. “Overall, we are young and have a lot of positions to fill. We need to come together and mesh as a team. Our young people need to play with the confidence and poise of experienced players.”
Returning letter winners include seniors Brooke Hovland (Outside Hitter), Reese Richards (Setter) and Libby Nelson (Defensive Specialist, Outside Hitter), and juniors Briann Evavold (Libero), Josey Bugbee (Right Side Hitter) and Amber Frigaard (Defensive Specialist).
Grove will also be looking for varsity contributions from a trio of sophomores, Alayna Evavold (Middle Hitter), Jorja Gabrielson (Outside Hitter) and Moraes Bugbee (Middle Hitter).
Grove, who will be assisted by Carly Jensen, Kali Koehn, Miranda Alsgard and Desiree Frie, says Henning is the team to beat in Section 6A, while Brandon-Evansville and Parkers Prairie are the top teams in the Little Eight Conference.
