“This year will be a building year, as we lost some long time players last season,” said Coach Foslien.  “I expect that we will gain confidence in each other and ourselves as the season progresses.  Most of these players were Junior Varsity players last year, so gaining that Varsity experience will be crucial.

Foslien thinks that CGB, Henning and Brandon-Evansville are the favorites in Section 6A.

Assistant Coaches will be Naomi Moerke (JV) and Hailey Bennett (C Team).

“It’s already been a different year as four of our starters joined cross country, believing that there wouldn’t be a volleyball season,” shared Foslien.  “Three of them are remaining to try and handle both sports as the Knights are hoping for a Conference title in cross country.  We are having to be flexible with scheduling and want them to finish with their team, but it makes things tricky when they belong on the volleyball court, too!”
