“We will rely on experienced on the O and D line from Buehler and Houselog who are 3-year starters for the Bulldogs,” commented Head Coach Eric Olson.  “We also bring back our quarterback from last season, Tanner Arndt.  Tanner will need to take on more of a leadership role as all of the offense will run through him.  Brady VanErp will lead the receiver crew and secondary, while Drew Durbin returns to lead the linebackers.”

To be successful this season Olson says the Bulldogs will need to mix the run and the pass game on offense.  Defensively, OTC will need to be stronger at the line of scrimmage than last year.  “We need the D line and linebackers to elevate their game to stop the run game and put pressure on the quarterback in the pass game,” noted Olson.

OTC will several newcomers to the starting lineup, including Bricker Bladow (RB/DB), Owen Buehler (WR/DB), Mason Hammer (RB/LB), Joe Turchin (OL/DL), Tyson Misegades (WR/DB) and Kayne Cameron (TE/LB).

“We will need to do the small things right throughout the season to have success,” concluded Coach Olson.  “The offense will need to continue to grow and work together as a unit to move the ball, control the time of possession, and hit some big chunk plays.  The defense has to be able to get off the field and create turnovers.”
