The New York Mills football team lost eleven seniors to graduation, however, they do have a very good nucleus coming back for the 2020 season.  Head Coach Matt Radniecki is in his 28th year as a head coach and will be assisted by Bryan Dunrud, Peder Butenhoff and Eric Niemi.

“We will need to develop some depth as that will be an issue,” said Radniecki.  “We have Daunte Leiran (RB/LB) and Nolan Cassidy (OL/DL) coming back as captains and also two key components to our team.  We also have our quarterback Bren Salo coming back which is nice to have.”

Radniecki sees Breckenridge as the Section favorite and Pelican Rapids is his top pick in District competition.

“We are excited to be able to play and hope to have a successful season, but enjoy that we get to play some games,” added Radniecki.  “We will be competitive and should be able to win some games.”
