The Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Boys Soccer team was defeated by the East Grand Forks Greenwave on Friday, at HLA by the score of 4-0. EGF scored two header goals in the first half, off a corner kick (3 minutes) and a free kick 29 minutes). EGF added two more in the second half at 60 minutes and 76 minutes.
“Senior Captain, Zeke Ihrke and Freshman, Abram Ness, worked together to create several opportunities to score," noted Comet Head Coach Rod Jensen. "The Comets had excellent defensive efforts from Senior Captain, Trey Carl, Cole Peterson, Zayne Weinrich, and Soren Floden. Freshman midfielder, Gabe Swedenburg, had a great game, supporting both our offense and defensive efforts”
The Comets, still looking for their first “W”, now 0-6, take on Crookston on Tuesday at HLA.
