WCA Runners Have Strong Showing at Pequot Lakes

Pequot Lakes hosted West Central Area and Breckenridge/Wahpeton in a Cross Country Triangular on Friday.  The Knights won the boys’ competition with 18 points and placed second on the girls’ side with 28 points.  Pequot Lakes won the girls’ team title with 27 points.  Breckenridge/Wahpeton placed third as a team in both races.

Calia Chaney of the Patriots was the individual girls’ champion with a time of 18:51.06.  Runner-up honors went to Lexi Bright (19:29.63) of the Knights.
