Fergus Falls Swimming and Diving Team Travels to Rocori for First Road Meet

The Fergus Falls girls’ swimming and diving team competed in their first away meet of the season on Thursday, falling to the Rocori Spartans 109-72.  “We had a fun time with a great group of kids but according to many of the times, they were tired,” said Head Coach Joyce Monk of the Otters. “This group has been swimming and diving hard and we are very proud of the Otters.”

Eighth-grader Alexis Wellman dropped eleven seconds off her time in the 200 free and 28 seconds in her 500 free, while Jerzie Smith dropped 16 seconds in the 200 free and 11 seconds in the 500 free.

The Otters will swim against St. Cloud Apollo on Tuesday in St. Cloud and will host St. Cloud Tech on Thursday night.
