Fergus Falls put four runs on the board in the second inning when Porter led off with a double was bunted to third base by Jack Hiedeman and scored on a single by Darin Stanislawski.  Stanislawski took third base on a throwing error on an attempted pick-off play and scored on a base hit by Eric Salveson.  Tommy Hiedeman reached on an error and Alex Hensch walked to load the bases.  Thomas Bosek then delivered a RBI single, plating Salveson and Tosten Mann followed by bringing home Hiedeman with a sacrifice fly.

The Hurricanes put up a four spot in the third inning as well.  Porter again got things started, this time with a single and a steal of second base.  Jack Hiedeman singled in Porter after a fly out.  Salveson walked and was forced out at second base by Tommy Hiedeman.  Jack scored on a single by Hensch and Tommy came home on a base hit by Bosek.  The final run of the inning was driven home by Mann with a base hit, scoring Hensch and giving Fergus Falls an 8-0 lead.

Two more runs crossed the plate in the fourth with Austin Stanislawski knocking in porter with a base hit and a bases loaded walk to Bosek bringing in the other run.

The final run was registered in the bottom of the fifth when Darin Stanislawski doubled to lead off the inning and came across the plate on a two-out single by his brother, Austin Stanislawski.

Hensch (2-4, R, RBI), Bosek (2-4, 3RBI), Mann (2-4, 2RBI), Porter (2-4, 3R, 2B, 2SB), Jack Hiedeman (2-3, 2R, RBI) and Austin Stanislawski (3-4, R, 3RBI) led the 15-hit attack by the Hurricanes.

Fergus Falls improves to 6-2 overall and 3-0 in League play.  Their next action is Saturday with a home double header against the Dent Wildcats, beginning at 6:00pm at Legion Field.
