Perham continued their unbeaten season with an 86-57 opening round playoff win over the Frazee Hornets on Thursday night. Perham shot 61% (31-51) from the field and made 50% (11-22) of their shots from behind the arc. They also went 13-for-16 (81%) from the free throw line.
The Yellowjackets were led by Charlie Rasmussen, who registered a double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds. He also dished out 4 assists. Finn Diggins contributed 22 points, 4 assists, 3 steals and 3 rebounds. Grant McMartin was also in double digits with 14 points, while recording 4 assists. Gunnar Anderson had a team high 6 assists and also collected 7 rebounds. Elijah Morris added 6 points, 6 rebounds and 4 steals, and Landon Stevens chipped in with 8 points.
Leaders for Frazee were Jack Courneya and Broden Fleisher with 14 points each. Cole Fleisher finished with 13.
Perham (26-0) will now go up against Thief River Falls (13-13) in a quarterfinal round matchup at 2:45pm Saturday at Concordia College in Moorhead.
