Henning took control of their boys’ basketball game with Verndale early on Tuesday night as they surged to a 39-16 halftime lead on the way to a 76-37 victory. Henning shot 53% (34-64) from the field, making 30-of-47 (63%) 2-point field goal attempts on the night.
Isaac Fisher (18 points, 9-13 FG, 5 steals), Blaine Wallevand (15 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals, 8 assists), Parker Fraki (15 points, 8 rebounds, 3 steals, 6 assists and Brandon Trana (11 points) were all in double figures for the Hornets.
“We showed good balance on the offensive end as 10 guys scored in the game,” reported Head Coach Randy Misegades. “We have road games Thursday and Friday to close the Park Region Conference schedule.”
