The Ashby Boys Basketball Team snapped a four game losing skid with a 70-34 defeat of the CGB Wolverines.  The Arrows led 42-18 at halftime.  They had great balanced scoring with four players reaching double figures.

Sharing the high point totals were Hunter Norby (14 pts, 5 reb, 2 ast) and Jacob Cook (14 pts, 8 reb, 3 ast, 1 stl).  Torin Olson (12 pts, 4 reb, 4 ast, 2 stl) and Jaden Norby (12 pts, 8 reb, 4 ast, 2 stl) were next.  Rounding out the scoring were Ashton Ecker (8 pts, 1 reb, 2 ast), Derrek Bartz (6 pts, 1 reb, 2 ast), and Noah Johnson (4 pts, 4 reb, 6 ast, 3 stl).  Bobby Anderson grabbed 3 rebounds and Jake Rein along with Matson Hoff secured one board each.

“The guys moved the ball well and made the extra pass to find a better shot for a teammate,” commented Ashby Head Coach John Holsten.  “They also guarded the ball and their man effectively.”

The win improves the Arrows overall record to 12-7.  Next up for the Ashby boys is a Little Eight Conference game Friday at home against Battle Lake.
