Brandon-Evansville dominated the second half of their home game against Rothsay on Friday night, handing the Tigers a 53-32 loss.  The Chargers led 26-21 at the half and outscored the Tigers 27-11 over the final 18 minutes.

“This is our only Friday night home game of the entire season and I'm glad we were able to get a conference win,” said B-E Head Coach Trent Hintermeister. “I thought we did a great job defensively in the second half. We got out in transition a bit and really let our defense propel our offense. We will have a week off before going Friday and Saturday next week.”

Tanner Bitzan led all scorers with 14 points and Keagan Schiele finished with 10.

Tanner Heier registered a double-double for Rothsay with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Brandon-Evansville (10-6) will travel to Fergus Falls on Friday, February 7 to face Hillcrest Lutheran Academy.  They will play at Long Prairie-Grey Eagle on Saturday, February 8 at 11:00am.

Rothsay (3-15) will host Park Christian on Monday.
