“We fell behind early, but were able to close the gap by halftime and only trailed by five points, 32-27,” reported Head Coach David Marso of the lady Battlers. “In the second half we got ourselves in some foul trouble and put the Raiders on the line too many times, which made it difficult to close the gap.”
Battle Lake was led by Grace VanErp (18 points, 13 rebounds, 7 steals), Makenna Tysdal (14 points, 10 rebounds), Halie Johnson (10 points, 8 rebounds) and Tessa Kortlever (13 rebounds).
Kay Pederson scored 21 to lead the Raiders in the victory.
Battle Lake (5-12) will host Ashby on Thursday night.
