Jayna Gronewold led Rothsay with 22 points.  Jenna Fabre added 13 points, 6 steals and 5 rebounds.  Grace Lider contributed 7 points.

“Mahnomen/Waubun shot well from the start, which created a big hole for us to dig out of,” commented Rothsay Head Coach Anita Heier. “We played hard and gave ourselves a chance, taking the lead with a few minutes left, but came up short in the end.”

The loss snapped a three game Rothsay winning streak and dropped the Tigers record to 6-12.  Rothsay will play a Little Eight Conference game at Parkers Prairie on Thursday.
