O'Kane Records Shutout as Alexandria Girls Blank Grand Rapids/Greenway

Kaci Trosvig’s goal at 1:18 of the second period was the only scoring of the day at the Runestone Community Center in Alexandria as the Cardinals blanked Grand Rapids/Greenway, 1-0.  Anna Doherty assisted on the goal.

Jordan O’Kane stopped all 21 shots she faced to earn the shutout.

Alexandria put 26 shots on the Grand Rapids/Greenway net, with Makenzie Cole stopping all but one of them.

The win improves the Cardinals record to 15-6-3.  They will close out their regular season with a home game against St. Cloud on Thursday night.
