Adam Tonsfeldt reached 1,000 career points as he made 9-of-14 field goal attempts and scored 22 points to lead the Barnesville Trojans to a 68-45 win at Hawley on Thursday night. Tonsfeldt added 4 rebounds, 8 assists and 6 steals in the game. Tonsfeldt is the sixth Trojans to reach the 1,000 point milestone.
Kaden Zenner was 8-for-12 from the floor, scoring 16 points and pulling down 8 rebounds. Matt Samuelson added 9 points and Blake Torfin had 5 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists.
Barnesville shot 43% (28-64) from the floor and Hawley made just 26% (13-49) of their shots.
The Trojans (11-3, 4-1 HOL) will play at Breckenridge Tuesday night, while Hawley has a home game against Frazee on Tuesday night. The game against Barnesville began a six game home stand for the Nuggets.
