Otter Girls Sustain One Goal Loss to Osseo Park Center

Osseo Park Center handed the Fergus Falls girls’ hockey team a 3-2 loss at the Armstrong-Cooper Holiday Tournament on Friday.

“Same story, great effort and fight, we just aren’t finding the back of the net,” commented Fergus Falls Head Coach Tim Lill.  “We will find a way.  They are very hungry.”

Osseo Park Center scored just 52 seconds into the game when Taverie Shermer assisted on a goal by Presley Kraemer.  Fergus Falls tied the game on a unassisted goal by Maddie Hulter at 7:38, but Osseo Park Center took a 2-1 lead when Shermer assisted on a goal by Chloe Lewis at 8:44.

Alyia Bjork scored at 1:21 of the second period with an assist from Charley Sawicky, making it 3-1.

In the third period Fergus Falls cut the lead to 3-2 on an unassisted goal from Piper Andrews at 7:35.
