Adam Tonsfeldt (28 points, 5 assists, 5 steals, 2 rebounds), Kaden Zenzen (17 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals), Matt Samuelson (12 points) and Hunter Zenzen (11 points) led the Trojans.
“We went on a 17-0 run to start the second half,” commented Barnesville Assistant Coach Tracy Hinsz. “We got rebounds, changed our defensive intensity, pushed the ball up the court and got some layups, changing the course of the game in the process.”
Rothsay was led by Tanner Heier with 16 points and 4 rebounds, and Colby Larson with 12 points and 5 rebounds.
Barnesville (4-1) will hit the road to play Wadena-Deer Creek on Friday night, while Rothsay (0-6) will host Brandon-Evansville on Thursday.
