Warriors Post Fourth Straight Victory

Wheaton/Herman-Norcross posted a 94-62 win over Hankinson, ND on Monday night in a high school boys’ basketball contest.

“We played a nice game, shot the ball really well, forced turnovers, ran the floor, played our style,” commented Warriors Head Coach Jordon Roos. “We still need to limit our turnovers, however.”

Wheaton/Herman-Norcross hit 50% of their field goal attempts and won the battle of the boards, 54-41.  They shot 50% (11/22) from beyond the arc and made 21-of-27 (78%) from the free throw line.

Matt Thielen poured in 35 points, burying 7-of-13 3’s while making all six of his free throws.  Clint Determan recorded a double-double with 10 points and 14 rebounds, while adding 7 assists and 5 steals, and Michael Franzese contributed 10 points.  Nick Lupkes had 9 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals.

The Warriors (4-1) have posted four straight wins.
