“After only dressing seven players against Brainerd we got two guys back in the lineup and increased the tempo of the game which was a big key for us,” said M State Head Coach Shawn Sorenson. “We gave up too many offensive rebounds in this game.”
M State (5-6) is now off until Friday, January 3 and Saturday, January 4 when they host Mesabi Range and Itasca Community College in their Spartan Classic. They will open MCAC Southern Division play on Wednesday, January 8 at home against Anoka-Ramsey. The Spartans will begin the New Year with five straight home games.
