“I thought we played really well in the first half and shot the ball really well,” stated C-G-B Head Coach Ethan Pearson. “We started off hot in the second half to get back within 3 after being down 8 at halftime. Wheaton picked up the defensive intensity and we got a little flustered on the offensive end of the floor. We gave up a big run defensively where their posts scored about 6 layups in a row. We are a very young team and are continuing to improve in different game situations! I’m happy with the way we are playing together and shooting the ball! Next week we have a busy week playing two games in Hankinson, ND, and we get Ortonville at home for our conference home opener!”
