“We lost a lot of scoring due to graduation, but have girls that are excited for the opportunity to step into that scoring role,” commented Coach Clark.  “We will have a young bench and it will be important for our veterans to come alongside our younger players as they learn our offensive and defensive game plans.”

Seniors Anna Rasmussen (F) and Molly McGuire (F) are joined by juniors Mackenzie Foss (G), Audra Ewan (G) and Cassy Twedt (G) as returning starters.  Sophomores Regan Wiertzema (C), Natalie Zwiers (F) and Abby Heikes (G) are the other returning letter winners.  Freshman Madison Foss (G) should step in and play a role on the varsity squad this season.

“This is a group of hard workers and they are looking forward to the season with the mentality that each day is an opportunity to get better,” said Clark.  “Improving our overall record is a goal for us this season.”

Clark says Ada-Borup, Parkers Prairie and Park Christian are the top teams in Section 6A, while Parkers Prairie and Underwood are the favorites in the Little Eight Conference.

Reese Ellison, Josh Mohagen and Emily Frustol will serve as assistant coaches.
