The home team Angels caught the Otters off guard early, scoring three goals over a 4 minute span.  The Otters battled hard but ended the 1st period down 3-0.  Following two more Angels goals early in the 2nd, Levi Klaksvik scored the Otters first goal of the year on a nice backhand play to make it 5-1.  The score after two periods was 7-1. The visiting Otters regrouped for the 3rd period and played their best period of the day with several good scoring chances.  Luke Johnson scored two goals in the third period for the Otters.  Brekken Reed was in the net for the Otters, finishing with 27 saves on the day.  The Otters fired 22 shots on the opposing goalie.  Final score Angels 10, Otters 3.

The Otters will be back in action next weekend with rivalry games against Detroit Lakes and Alexandria.
