The Fergus Falls volleyball team took fourth place out of eight teams at the Alexandria Tournament on Saturday.

The Otters opened pool play with a 2-1 (25-5, 23-25, 15-11) win over Rocori, then lost 2-1 (25-21, 19-25, 17-19) to Ada-Borup and 2-1 (25-20, 19-25, 16-18) to Mounds Views.  That put them up against Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta in the third place match, which they lost in 3 sets (23-25, 25-17, 12-15).

Statistical leaders were Sabrina Fronning (20 kills, 34 digs, 34/36 serving, 4 aces, 2 blocks), Jade Zierden (22 kills, 24 digs, 59/61 serving, 9 aces, 1 block), Paige Pearson (16 kills, 8 digs, 26/27 serving, 3 aces, 2.5 blocks), Hannah Prody (26 kills, 6 digs, 6.5 blocks), Kaia Strom (10 kills, 81 set assists, 2 blocks, 22 digs, 46/47 serving, 8 aces), Katie Strommen (15 kills, 16/16 serving), Tori Ratz (46 digs, 27/30 serving), Logan Strom (28 digs) and Kaylee Ridler (19/22 serving, 1 ace).
