The Battlers got off to a quick start in set one taking an 8-4 lead but the Eagles quickly rebounded and went on a 6 point run and never looked back.  The Battlers were able to keep set 2 close until point 16 when the Eagles went on a 4 point run and finished the match.  Set 3 was also close but the Battlers just could not keep up with the speed of the Eagles. 

The Battlers played a solid defensive match with Makenna Tysdal finishing with 12 digs and Halie Johnson adding 8 digs.  Grace Van Erp led the Battlers with 6 kills and 9 assists while Kate Christensen and Ady Tysdal each added 3 kills. 

The Battlers head to Ashby Tuesday night for a Little Eight Conference matchup with the Arrows.
