Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton hosted Perham in a battle that featured two unbeaten teams on Friday night in Glyndon.  The Rebels got off to a great start, taking a 14-0 first quarter lead and let 30-18 at the half.  Perham battled back to within 36-34 after three quarters but DGF scored the only points of the fourth quarter to improve to 5-0 with a 42-34 victory over the Yellowjackets.

Aiden Leach delivered a 45 yard touchdown pass to Carter Kohler at the 8:50 mark of the first quarter to complete a six-play, 90-yard scoring drive.  Leach added the two-point conversion run to give the Rebels an early 8-0 advantage.  They added six points on a 7-yard run by Cade Sogge, capping an 8-play, 80-yard drive and making it a 14-0 lead.

In the second quarter, Perham got on the board when Finn Diggins hauled in a 25 yard scoring pass from Colton Hackel, cutting the Rebels lead to 14-6.  Justin Wang ran the ball in from four yards out and then caught a two-point conversion pass from Kohler to push the DGF lead to 22-6 at 7:53 of the second quarter.  Hackel hooked up with Diggins again, this time on a 7 yard pass at 5:45 to make it a 22-12 game.  A one yard Sogge run and two-point conversion run by Leach gave DGF a 30-12 lead at 1:46 of the second.  The final score of the first half came with just 27 seconds remaining as Maddux Kovash was on the receiving end of a nine yard pass from Hackel.

Perham pulled to within four points at 30-26 at 10:47 of the third quarter when Hackel ran the ball into the end zone from five yards out and also added the two-point conversion.  Sogge’s third TD run of the game, a one-yard plunge at 2:11 of the quarter pushed the lead up to 36-26, however, Perham scored on yet another Hackel pass, this time a 43-yard bomb to Dylan Lysne.  Hackel’s two-point conversion run cut the lead down to two points at 36-34.

The final score of the night came with 8:07 remaining in the game when Wang broke free for a 20 yard touchdown run
