“The Knights came alive game three, but came up short in the end,” said WCA Head Coach Missy Foslien. “Morgan Anderson had a great first game with two nice kills down the line to start game one. We struggled with their tough hitting but worked hard getting touches on those hits to slow them down a bit. Brooke Anderson came in and did a very nice job on the outside adding 3 kills in game three. Halle Foslien brings an energy level to the court as well, and allows us to use Ellie Herman as a power hitter on the outside. We are looking forward to Ortonville and Hancock this week to see what we can do!”
Leaders for the Knights were Kaleigh Anderson (11/12 serving, 1 ace, 11 digs), Hailey Bennett (6/6 serving, 1 ace, 4 set assists, 7 digs, 4 kills), Emma Swenson (7 digs) and Brooke Anderson (3 kills, 1 block).
