St. Cloud Apollo got off to a fast start as they paid a visit to Fergus Falls for a Central Lakes Conference matchup on Thursday night. The Eagles scored three first half goals and made them stand up as they shutout the Otters by the score of 3-0.
“We let a great opportunity slip away from us tonight,” commented Fergus Falls Head Coach Steven Ness. “We played a great second half, but made some mental errors in the first and gave up three. I’m proud of the adjustments the guys made and the effort in the second half. Ian Stumbo made some insane saves and kept us in the game.”
