Knights Ride Big Night by Jaden Norby to 62-0 Win Over TRF

It seemed like every time West Central Area/Ashby touched the football on Friday night, something good came of it.  The Knights jumped out to a 16-0 first quarter lead against Thief River Falls and led 28-0 at the half.  WCA/Ashby scored 20 third quarter points to take a 48-0 lead.  A 14-0 fourth quarter put the final score at 62-0, West Central Area/Ashby.

Jaden Norby had a huge night for WCA/Ashby as he ran for 141 yards and three touchdowns, while completing 5-of-14 passes for 66 yards and a TD to Gage Staples who led all receivers with four catches and 64 yards.

Backup QB Evan Paulson completed both of his throws for 16 yards, including a touchdown pass to Ryder Staples.

Jordan Lohse had a 9 yard TD run and also picked off a pass and returned it for a touchdown.  Anthony Sykora found the end zone from two yards out for the other Knights TD.

When the dust had settled the Knights had 259 rushing yards, 88 passing yards 347 yards of total offense.  The WCA/Ashby defense limited Thief River Falls to just 66 yards on the night and 4 first downs.
