“I’m proud of the way the girls played today,” said Head Coach Renee Erickson. “After they started out a bit sluggishly they really came back strong. It was good to see the energy they brought to the court.”
The Otters got contributions throughout the lineup. Top servers were Sabrina Fronning (18/18, 4 aces), Logan Strom (17/18, 1 ace), Paige Pearson (21/22, 5 aces) Jade Zierden (14/15), Kaia Strom (10/11) and Hannah Prody (12/14, 1 ace). The Otters had 11 aces as a team.
Zierden led the attack with 11 kills and 2 blocks. Kaia Strom had 7 kills and distributed 30 set assists, Fronning had 6 kills, Katie Strommen had 5 kills and 4.5 blocks, and Hannah Prody came through with 5 kills.
Defensive leaders were Fronning (20 digs), Zierden (17 digs), Logan Strom (13 digs) and Pearson (7 digs).
The Otters will travel to St. Cloud Tuesday night for a Central Lakes Conference match with Apollo.
